Depending on how one would interpret it, it could very well include lesbian sex. 377a specifically deals with men. However, there are not specific clause criminalizing lesbian sex. 337 itself is gender and orientation neutral, it applies to anyone with anyone. Hence, by removing 377 and keeping 377a, it effectively decriminalize lesbian sex together with other forms of sex between heterosexual couples, only keeping the criminalization of sex between men intact. Could you advise whereabouts was the decriminalisation of sexual intercourse between consenting females implied in the recent revision?
