Salt * Wet * Fish

Renovation at the new house is started. Due to some technical problem, what was originally to be completed by end of May, will be delayed till mid of June. My ID (Interior Design) cum contractor submitted the new floor plan, but missed out the door details. Had to resubmit and wait for 1 more week!

So for those who have not see a house being renovated or had your house renovated, this should be how it looks like, in Singapore at least!


Well, piles of sand in my living room. All the old tiles and flooring have been ripped out and discarded. The sand is obviously to be mixed with the cement for the tiling work.

The 2 bedrooms with the doors dismantled. The wall between the rooms will be hacked off and reconstructed, given me a bigger master bedroom (the room on your left)

All the hollow blocks, to reconstruct the walls, and the floor and wall tiles are kept in this room.
