Human being don’t really like to co-exists with things they dislike. Actually, I think this probably holds true for all other beings. However, men is the only species who can systematically destroy and reshape Earth at will so they can build an environment which they like, and in the midst of this, also destroy habitats of a lot of other species and inflicting suffering and pain to many species including our own in a very very large scale. These things do occur in nature too, but they are usually very small scale and localised.

There are many materials that men made that could not have existed by themselves through just the forces of nature, for example, rubber, plastic and cement. Many of these cannot be reused easily and some of the actually, and again, destroys the environment and other species within their parameters.

Not only that, we are the only species that could single-handed cause changes to the weather and ultimately cause the extinction of ourselves on this Earth.

Of course, we can always argue maybe this is also nature’s arrangement and that the human race’s ultimate destruction is also part and parcel of this plan. I can’t disagree with that, because how can we really know what is nature’s plan, if there are any?
